The Kirkuk Criminal Court issued a six-year prison sentence against a blackmailer for the crime of bargaining with a girl by threats and electronic blackmail in exchange for the implementation of his requests.
A statement to the Judicial Council media stated, "The blackmailer published pictures, clips, and conversations that took place between them on social media, and sent them to the victim's family for not complying with his immoral requests."
He added, "The court issued a ruling against him based on the provisions of Article 430/1 of Penal Code No. 111 of 1969, as amended."
