Iranian Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed: "The work carried out by the Iranian armed forces is a duty to support the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon," indicating: "Any strike directed at the Zionist entity is a service to the region as a whole, and we will confront any Zionist attack with all firmness." In his Friday prayer sermon in Tehran, Khamenei called on Muslims to unite and stand together in the face of the enemies, indicating: "The policy of the enemies is to sow division and discord among Muslims." He added: "We must be smart and tighten our belts to defend our countries in the face of the Zionist enemy," explaining: "This enemy uses psychological warfare in its aggression in the region." The Supreme Leader pointed out: "The enemies of the Islamic nation are the same enemies of Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt and Yemen." He stressed that: "No one has the right to protest the resistance of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples to the Zionist aggression, and that repaying the debt to wounded Lebanon is a duty for everyone." He continued: "Hezbollah and its martyred leader's defense of Gaza provided a fateful service to the region, and the usurping Zionist entity did not achieve victory over Hamas and Hezbollah."
