Karbala Police recovered four bodies of young men who drowned in a river between the administrative borders with Babylon Governorate. A police statement stated that after receiving a call from the central control about a drowning accident between the voluntary borders of the holy Karbala Governorate and Babylon, detachments from the River Police Department headed to the area, specifically near Control (143) Umm Arouk area affiliated with Al-Saddah district. After continuous efforts in searching for the missing bodies, four bodies were recovered from the river and handed over to Al-Saddah Police Station, as the area is administratively affiliated with Babylon Governorate. Karbala Police renewed its warnings about the importance of adhering to safety instructions and staying away from swimming in rivers and streams to preserve their safety.
