Ramallah - Ma'an - The Board of Directors of the Palestinian Insurance Federation decided to appoint Kayed Miari as Secretary-General of the Federation, in an effort to enhance the Federation's role in the growth and stability of the insurance industry in Palestine. The Council's decision comes from its vision of the necessity of consolidating joint work and strengthening cooperation with all relevant parties in a way that serves the Palestinian national economy and enhances its ability to respond to all challenges. Miari has extensive experience in the field of public and international relations, project and institutional management. His professional career has included a number of financial and development institutions, the last of which were the Capital Market Authority, the Palestinian Council for Development and Reconstruction (PECDAR), and the Engineers Syndicate.
