Jordan Valley: The Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) has implemented its medium emergency plan in response to anticipated weather instability. In a statement released Tuesday, the JVA disclosed that the state of emergency has been declared in light of weather forecasts indicating the Kingdom's exposure to an air depression, commencing tonight and persisting in the coming days. This weather system is expected to bring heavy downpours and rising water levels in various water bodies. The Authority has diligently prepared for the situation through the mobilization of its administrative units in the Jordan Valley regions. Emergency rooms have been promptly activated, and the readiness of personnel, machinery, and equipment has been heightened in the northern, central, and southern areas of the Jordan Valley, as well as at all dam sites throughout the Kingdom. Additionally, the JVA urged citizens, farmers, and livestock breeders to exercise utmost caution and undertake necessary precautions to protect lives and prop erty. Vigilance in monitoring weather conditions is advised, along with avoiding water collection areas, dams, valley streams, and torrents. The Authority emphasized its unwavering commitment to serving the public, with dedicated teams across all departments working tirelessly around the clock to address citizens' needs and respond effectively to any developments in the weather situation.
