"Jordan warned that Netanyahu will try to trigger a confrontation with Iran to drag the United States and possibly the entire West into a regional war, where the focus will shift to Iran, remobilize an international position in support of Israel against Iran, and the world will forget about Gaza," Safadi explained. "There are racist and exclusionary extremists in the Israeli government, such as Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and other ministers who speak clearly with a racist and extremist agenda, dehumanizing the Palestinians and pushing towards further escalation, we are facing this situation," he said. "Our biggest challenge is to prevent Netanyahu and his government, in which racist extremists participate, and the whole world knows their agendas, from using this attack as a pretext to continue the aggression on Gaza, and even go further in launching an attack on the city of Rafah." Safadi said that Jordan's focus is to continue its efforts to make it clear to the international community that the basis and cause of the tension is Israel's aggression against Gaza, in addition to all other actions that have killed the chances of achieving peace. He pointed out that the international community's focus today was on the Israeli-Iranian confrontation, and Gaza was not mentioned today in the newscasts of all international stations, considering that a danger that must be addressed. Safadi stressed that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and brotherly countries have made uninterrupted efforts to expose the Israeli narrative about what is happening in the Gaza Strip, and to mobilize an international position demanding an end to the aggression and all the illegal practices and violations of international law that it is carrying out in Gaza. "We have a new challenge before us, which is how to refocus on Gaza, refocus on the cause of the conflict, refocus on ending the aggression so that Netanyahu, who is driven by a nullifying ideology against Palestinians, and driven by his personal ambitions to perpetuate the war to prevent him from facing the consequences of his policies and actions, does not succeed," Safadi said. He explained that Jordan is doing everything it can and has spared no effort to stop this aggression, to uphold the Palestinian right, to ensure an end to the occupation, and to fulfill the rights of the Palestinian people, but Jordan will not be able to end this aggression alone.
