Jordanian exports to the United States increased by 14.4% in the first half of 2024, reaching JD1.071 billion, up from JD936 million during the same period last year. According to data from the Department of Statistics, Jordan's trade balance with the United States showed a surplus of JD455 million in the first half of this year. The total trade exchange between Jordan and the United States rose to JD1.687 billion, compared to JD1.609 billion in the first half of 2023. Jordan's imports from the United States amounted to JD616 million in the first half of 2024, down 8.5% from JD673 million during the same period last year. Key Jordanian exports to the United States include clothing, jewelry, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, IT services, food products, and engineering goods. Major imports from the United States consist of metal products, transportation equipment, machinery, electrical appliances, grains, chemicals, medical devices, and various other goods.
