Jordanian scouts partake in World Scout Jamboree

The Jordanian Association for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides is participating in the World Scout Jamboree, hosted by South Korea from August 1-12. A group of 40 scouts and guides are participating to demonstrate the Association’s commitment to involving youth in international scout events, supporting the development of skills, experiences, and abilities, and contributing to various fields, said a statement by the Association on Thursday. Throughout the event, participants will exchange their experiences, as well as their cultures. The World Scout Jamboree is a massive gathering of scouts that occurs every four years and is hosted by a member state of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. This event offers young men and boys a chance to gain practical experience, learn about various cultures, develop scouting skills, and engage in community service.
