Jordanian Minister of Culture Haifa Najjar commended on Thursday the State of Kuwait for its immense and tremendous role and contributions in bolstering Arab cultural development. Speaking to KUNA after meeting with Secretary General of Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters (NCCAL) Dr. Mohammad Al-Jassar, Minister Najjar indicated that Kuwait and Jordan have mutual interest in thriving Arab cultural development especially within the artistic field. She lauded Kuwait's participation in the 38th edition of the Jerash festival, noting that the event highlighted many of Jordan's intangible cultural heritage sites. On his part, Dr. Al-Jassar commended the cultural ties linking Kuwait and Jordan on so many levels, affirming that his country's participation in the Jerash festival was within the context of continued cooperation. Kuwait's NCCAL partakes in the Jerash festival with a pavilion highlighting several cultural activities pertaining to Kuwaiti heritage with the participation of several a rtists and poets.
