Amman, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi discussed in a phone call with his US counterpart Antony Blinken, the developments in the Gaza Strip, efforts to stop the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, and the Israeli attack on Rafah. The two ministers also discussed efforts to reach a deal for an immediate ceasefire, release hostages, and prevent the war from expanding regionally. They affirmed the need for all efforts to ensure the success of the mediation efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar, Egypt, and the US to reach a ceasefire.
