Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mamoun Al-Debi'e, Thursday discussed with the Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan, Mufida Al Zaribi , ways to enhance cooperation in the higher education fields and exchange of academic and research expertise. Speaking at the meeting, Al-Debi'e stressed the "depth of historic" Jordanian-Tunisian relations, hoping to achieve further academic cooperation among Jordanian and Tunisian universities. For her part, the envoy highlighted the importance of strengthening the partnership among the two countries' educational institutions, which would contribute to support and develop scientific research and exchange expertise of students and faculty members. The two sides discussed future cooperation prospects within the framework of joint agreements and ways to facilitate admission of Tunisian students to study in Jordan and develop academic exchange programs, according to a ministry statement.
