Aqaba: A delegation from the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) has participated in the International Health Tourism Conference, held in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt. Deputy Chairman of the ASEZA Board of Commissioners, Hamza Haj Hassan, emphasized the significance of such conferences in promoting the medical tourism sector. Haj Hassan underscored the critical role of maintaining high-quality standards to bolster the reputation and credibility of Jordanian healthcare institutions. He highlighted how quality and reliability play a significant part in driving the growth of medical tourism, opening doors for the potential expansion of hospitalization programs in the K ingdom. On the sidelines of the conference, which witnessed the presence of Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, along with several ministers, officials, and esteemed international guests, the delegation had a productive meeting with Governor of South Sinai Maj. Gen. Khaled Fouda. The discussions primarily revolved around the development of intra-regional tourism, particularly focusing on the resorts along the Egyptian Red Sea beaches and the Gulf of Aqaba. The meeting also explored various opportunities for cooperation between the two friendly nations. Source: Jordan News Agency
