Minister of Labor Khaled Bakkar held discussions on Thursday with his Palestinian counterpart, Enas Attari, to strengthen joint labor cooperation between Jordan and Palestine. Bakkar emphasized the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and reiterated the government's commitment, under the leadership of Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, to supporting Palestinian resilience. He highlighted the importance of equipping Palestinian labor institutions with Jordanian expertise in vocational and technical training, employment, entrepreneurship, occupational safety, and social security to help Palestinian youth enter the labor market. The minister affirmed Jordan's readiness to expand cooperation by sharing the country's experience with production branches and the National Employment Program, with a particular focus on job creation for Palestinian youth. Attari echoed the significance of these collaborative efforts, particularly in light of high unemployment rates in Palestine. She praised Jordan's ongoing support , led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, which bolsters Palestinian perseverance amid current challenges.
