Zarqa: Zarqa Chamber of Commerce (ZCC) head Hussein Shreim and the commercial attache in the Pakistani embassy, Saad Khattak, Sunday discussed commercial ties and boosting trade exchange between Jordan and Pakistan. Shreim said in the meeting in Amman that trade exchange with Pakistan is low despite the close ties between the two countries, adding that national exports to Pakistan in 2023 were worth JOD6 million, and imports from Pakistan were some JOD26 million. He urged action to increase trade and investor meetings from both countries. Khattak said he seeks to bolster trade exchange and encourage Pakistani investments in Jordan, urging meetings between ZCC members and Pakistani peer members. Source: Jordan News Agency
