During the meeting, Smadi emphasized the significance of enhancing cooperation between Jordan and Kazakhstan in religious and Islamic affairs. He provided an overview of the Sharia judiciary in Jordan, detailing the Council's tasks, achievements, and its role within the justice sector. Smadi highlighted the judiciary's efforts in upholding Sharia principles and ensuring justice. He also outlined the contributions of Sharia courts in Jerusalem, particularly in relation to the Hashemite custodianship over the holy city. Taganuly lauded the Supreme Judge Department's pioneering work in personal status judiciary, acknowledging its achievements and future goals.
