Amman: The Jordan Hotels Association (JHA) joined the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), as an affiliate member, granting it access to the organization's full range of rights and services. The association's membership follows its "persistent" efforts and collaboration with UNWTO, which reflect mutual trust and a "shared" commitment to bolster Jordan's hotel sector, according to a JHA statement on Thursday. As an affiliate member, the JHA will gain access to a "broad" network of experts and resources to aid in developing the Kingdom's hospitality and tourism sector. The JHA plans to leverage this achievement to enhance quality of the Kingdom's hotel services and exchange expertise with other members, added the statement. This move aligns with JHA's ongoing efforts to make Jordan as a "leading" tourist destination regionally and internationally, emphasizing its commitment to providing "top-tier" services to tourists and visitors, said the statement.
