Jordan Post Company (JPC) on Tuesday hosted the 45th Board of Directors meetings of the Postal Union for the Mediterranean (PUMed) in the Dead Sea region, with the participation of its member states. According to a JPC statement, discussions went over ways to improve the level of courier operations, enhance joint cooperation, shift activities of postal companies to adopt modern technologies, amend the internal system, and appoint new board members. During the meetings, dialogues tackled the union's activities, main action axes for postal business development, marketing, and international relations, as well as the union's strategic plan and the related initiatives. Jordan was elected a member of the PUMed Board of Directors for two sessions for 2020-2022 and 2023-2025, represented by JPC Director of the International Cooperation Unit, Suhair Wreikat.
