Among the important programs the ministry is working on is the Youth, Technology, and Employment program, which covers training and qualification, supporting business growth in Jordan by supporting and stimulating startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and a program to make Jordan an investment destination and a regional hub for human talents, Hanandeh said. He pointed out that the ICT sector provides directly more than 40,000 jobs and indirectly more than 60,000 jobs that rely on digital projects. Regarding cybersecurity, Hanandeh said that Jordan is one of the first countries to establish a cybersecurity council and center, and applies the highest levels of security and protection to protect Jordan's digital ecosystem. He explained that the digital transformation strategy and related projects are followed up personally by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, with the aim of serving its goals and indicators such as citizen satisfaction, economic development, and others, which is a continuation of what His Majesty the King started in the ICT sector, hence the establishment of the Digital Transformation Unit in the Prime Ministry to take care of the sustainability, continuity, and implementation of the projects in their final form. Hanandeh touched on the comprehensive service centers that provide a wide range of services under one umbrella, as a government service center was opened in the Muqabalain area, offering 112 services across 25 institutions. The Government Services Center at Queen Alia International Airport provides 38 government services in 16 institutions and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while the Government Services Center in Irbid provides 103 government services in 24 institutions, and the Tafila branch was recently opened and includes 84 government services that cover 19 government institutions, in addition to those located in the courts.
