The Civil Service and Public Administration Commission on Sunday launched a program to build the capacities of Jordan's human resources (HR) workers and institutional development units in the governance field, with the support of the European Union (EU). In a statement, the commission said the program aims to promote the target HR employees and Jordan's institutional development units by offering basic governance-related skills and globally applied practices, within its responsibilities in providing technical and advisory support and assistance. In its first phase, the statement added that the project seeks to provide skills related to the HR management system requirements in the Kingdom's public sector, services and organizational development. The statement noted this process coincides with a core shift of the HR and institutional development vision, which aligns with the policies in the Public Sector Modernization Map and the Civil Service Human Resources Strategy 2023-2027. The drive comes to "optimall y" apply the commission's standards, policies and guidelines, while the sustainability track is set to enhance the implementation levels, aimed to achieve the commission's various strategic projects and priorities of the Public Sector Modernization Map, the statement pointed out.
