Jordan announces the thwarting of an attempt to infiltrate a drone into the country

The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces announced the thwarting of an attempt to cross a drone that tried to infiltrate the southern region, in Jordanian territory. The Jordanian News Agency /Petra/ quoted a responsible source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces, that the Border Guard Forces in the Southern Military Region monitored an attempt to cross the Jordanian border, and dealt with it and applied the rules of engagement and shot it down inside Jordanian territory, indicating that the plane was transferred to the competent authorities. The source stressed that the armed forces deal firmly with various threats on the border fronts, and any efforts intended to undermine and destabilize the country's security and terrorize citizens.
