AMMAN: The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced today its full support for United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres in the face of a smear campaign by the Israeli government aimed at undermining his commitment to the UN Charter and the protection of international peace and security. Spokesperson Sufyan Qudah emphasized the importance of the international community rejecting any insults directed at the UN Secretary-General and insisted on Israel's obligation to respect the UN Charter, international law, and humanitarian law, as well as UN resolutions.
