The Joint Operations Command announced the start of a wide-scale search and inspection operation in Diyala. The Command stated in a statement: 'After the operation that was carried out yesterday in Basateen Al-Ait within the Diyala Operations Command sector, which resulted in the killing of two terrorists, one of whom was the criminal known as (Abu Al-Harith ), the so-called official of Khan Bani Saad within the Diyala sector, a force under his command began today, Saturday, the Diyala Operations Commander carried out a large search and inspection operation in the same area for the purpose of enhancing security and stability within this sector.'
