Amman: Members of the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women (JFBPW) discussed with Ambassador of South Africa to Jordan, Tselane Mokuena, ways to develop bilateral relations and network the two countries' women in various sectors, in addition to South Africa's position on the Palestinian cause and the aggression against Gaza. During the meeting held at the forum's headquarters, Mokuena reviewed the efforts, achievements and challenges of the women movement in her country and its leadership in multiple sectors, while the JFBPW's president, Dr. Reem Baghdadi, highlighted the body's role in supporting and empowering Jordanian women economically. According to a JFBPW statement on Wednesday, the two sides went over ways of joint cooperation and preparation to hold a Jordanian-S.African economic development conference at the level of various sectors, with a focus on increasing women's participation in those areas.
