The Asian Fencing Championship, hosted in Kuwait, continued Monday with Japanese player winning a gold medal in Foil competition. Three hundred fifty players representing 36 countries participated, with individual competitors in the men's foil and women's saber. Japanese player Kyosuke Matsuyama won the gold medal in the foil competition by defeating his compatriot Kazuki Imura, who won the silver medal. In contrast, Chinese Zoe Mo won the bronze medal.
