Rome, Italian President Sergio Mattarella met Friday with his Finnish counterpart, Alexander Stubb, who is currently visiting Rome. Discussions during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest. During the meeting, the Italian President said, "There is a great friendship between us and Finland, as well as great cooperation and harmony on important European and international issues."
