Israeli warplanes Monday struck Beirut's southern suburbs, according to a Lebanese security official. A Lebanese security official said, "The Madi and Bir al-Abed neighbourhoods were targeted with several missiles. No additional details are yet available." The official added that the Israeli air force launched 50 raids on Lebanon's Bekaa Valley in the afternoon, and the raids also targeted the Keserwan outskirts east of Beirut.
