Israeli Warplanes Conduct Airstrikes in Baalbek, Lebanon.

Baalbek: Israeli warplanes Saturday renewed airstrikes on the city of Baalbek in the Lebanese Bekaa Valley and the neighbouring villages of Qasr Naba, Jamaliyeh and Hadath Baalbek. A Lebanese security official reported that the airstrikes intensified in the town of Al-Kaniseh, prompting emergency response teams and ambulances to rush to the site. According to Jordan News Agency, the airstrikes were not limited to Baalbek and its surrounding villages. The Israeli warplanes also targeted several southern towns in Lebanon, including Rshaf, Adloun, Al-Hawsh Tyre, Burj Rahhal, and the outskirts of Kafra. Other affected areas included Sarbin, Al-Sama'iyah, Deir Qanun Ras Al-Ain, Batoulieh, and Ain Baal. The renewed airstrikes have raised concerns over escalating tensions in the region, as both sides brace for further developments. The Lebanese security official did not provide details on casualties or damage, but the intensity of the strikes indicates a significant impact on the affected areas.
