QALQILYA: Israeli occupation troops forced the owners of shops located at the entrance to the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, to close them. Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed the town, specifically the northern area, and forced the shop owners to close 15 shops, without citing any reasons. Since October 7th, the occupation forces closed the main entrance to the town with the iron gate, and prevented citizens from entering or exiting it, forcing citizens to take alternative side roads to reach their intended places. Last November, the occupation began bulldozing areas of town land in the same area, with the aim of expanding the Settler-only Road No. 55, linking the occupied West Bank cities of Qalqilya and Nablus.
