Israeli Snipers Open Fire Towards PRCS’s Ambulance in Rafah

Rafah: The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that occupation forces opened fire on one of its ambulances in the city of Rafah. The incident occurred while the ambulance was on an urgent mission in the Tel al-Sultan area, located west of Rafah.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the attack involved snipers targeting the PRCS vehicle. The ambulance was reportedly engaged in a critical operation at the time of the shooting. The PRCS has condemned the act, emphasizing the importance of allowing medical services to operate without interference, particularly in conflict zones where their role is crucial.

The PRCS has been a vital part of providing emergency medical services and aid in the region, and incidents like these raise concerns about the safety of medical personnel and their ability to perform their duties effectively. The international community continues to watch such developments closely, urging for the protection of humanitarian operations in areas of conflict.
