Israeli settlers Wednesday built a settler-only road in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of Salfit. The mayor of the town, Ibrahim Assi, told WAFA that a bulldozer belonging to the colonists, under the protection of the occupation soldiers, built a settler-only road to connect the outpost of 'Havat Yair' and the 'Ras' area north of the town, with the aim of seizing more than 3,000 dunams of lands belonging to towns like Qarawat Bani Hassan and Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit. He added that dozens of colonists opened fire at landowners who tried to reach the targeted area, and drove them away from the area. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
