Villages and towns in southern Lebanon were once again subjected to Israeli raids, as Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes Tuesday night targeting the town of Kfarkela using three MK-84 concussion bombs. According to field sources, Israeli bombardment also targeted the forest triangle between Rachaf, Al-Tayri and Hadatha last night. The Lebanese National News Agency said that Israeli aircraft violated the airspace of Sidon at low altitude, dropped thermal balloons and an interceptor missile exploded over the sea, off the city. The Israeli entity also dropped flares over the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts. It further continues its escalation against towns and villages in southern Lebanon, coinciding with its brutal and ongoing genocide on the Gaza Strip since October, 2023, which resulted in civilian deaths and injuries, and forced hundreds of families to flee their homes.
