Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 12 people, including two critical cases, were injured on Sunday evening in an Israeli warplane airstrike on the town of Maroub in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon. The ministry said in a statement that 11 of the wounded are of Syrian nationality in addition to one Lebanese, while two critical cases were recorded for a five-month-old girl and a woman. A Lebanese security source told Petra's reporter in Beirut that the towns of al-Naqoura, Jabal al-Labouna and Alma al-Shaab were subjected to sporadic Israeli artillery shelling, coinciding with the firing of flares over villages in the western and central sectors of the south."
