SALFIT: Israeli occupation forces closed the main northern entrance to the town of Salfit in the occupied West Bank using an iron gate this morning, according to local sources. The sources told WAFA that Israeli military personnel shut down the main entrance to the town with an iron gate, granting colonial Israeli colonists easier access to a nearby colonial outpost, while further restricting the movement of local Palestinian residents. Over the last months, Israeli occupation forces have been imposing similar measures across the occupied West Bank, including the use of iron gates and earth barriers at the entrances to various towns and villages. The closure of the main entrance in Salfit has a direct impact on the daily lives of Palestinians and their ability to move freely within their own territories.
