Israeli occupation forces detained six Palestinian civilians in occupied East Jerusalem this evening, according to the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority. The authority reported that the Israeli occupation forces carried out a raid in the neighborhood of Sur Baher, where they arrested two brothers, identified as Mohammed and Abed Amira, along with a father and his son, identified respectively as Amer and Omar Attoun. Additionally, Israeli occupation forces arrested two teenagers who were present in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city. The timing of these arrests is noteworthy, coinciding with the preparations of extremist Israeli settler groups to conduct a provocative march in occupied Jerusalem and its historic Old City.
