RAMALLAH: The Israeli occupation forces today detained 28 Palestinians in raids at their homes across the occupied West Bank, including two women, according to various sources. One woman, 34, was detained in the ancient city of Jericho in a raid at her home, and another was detained in Balata refugee camp in Nablus, said the sources. Another 19-year-old youth was also detained in Jericho and two others were detained in Balata camp. A 17-year-old boy was detained in Beit Awwa, south of Hebron, along with six others detained from various other towns in the Hebron district, including a man and his son from Tarqoumiya. In Bethlehem, four people were detained, including siblings, eight others were detained in Abu Dis and Izzariyeh, east of Jerusalem, two in the Ramallah area, two in Jenin district, and one in Qalqilya, said the sources.
