Silwan: Israeli occupation forces began demolishing a house in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, on Wednesday. Local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers stormed the Wadi Yasul neighborhood in the town and demolished the walls surrounding a house belonging to the Burqan family, in preparation for its demolition.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the incident marks another development in the ongoing tensions in the area. The demolition is part of a broader pattern of actions by the Israeli authorities in and around East Jerusalem, which has been a focal point of conflict for many years.
