Israeli occupation forces continued last night their mass detention campaign in the occupied West Bank, detaining at least 28 Palestinians, including a woman, during a series of raids into several cities, towns, villages and refugee camps across the occupied territory. In the town of Tubas, north of the West Bank, 13 Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation army after the latter raided and searched their family homes during a wide-scale offensive in the town. The Israeli offensive, which last for several hours, saw army units besiege a local citizen's house and target it with a shoulder-fired missile, causing a blaze. No casualties were reported. Israel snipers were also deployed on the rooftops of several high-rise buildings in the town, coinciding with a widespread invasion of multiple neighborhoods. Confrontations erupted between Palestinian residents and Israeli occupation forces in the aftermath of the raid. In Hebron, south of the territory, a Palestinian was injured by live Israeli amm unition during confrontations which erupted during an Israeli military raid into the town of ad-Dhahiriya, where at least two Palestinians were arrested from their family homes. Three more Palestinians were also arrested by the Israeli occupation army after raiding and searching their homes in Hebron City In the southern province of Bethlehem, at least three Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation army, who raided and searched the family homes of the three detainees. In the northern province of Nablus, at least three Palestinians were arrested by the occupation forces, including a young woman, Halima Abu Salhia, who was arrested from her family home in the Al-Jabal ash-Shamali neighborhood of Nablus City. Two more Palestinians were also arrested in similar raids by the Israeli occupation forces in the Ramallah province, in addition to two others in Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem. These arrests are part of an ongoing Israeli mass detention campaign in the occupied West Ban k coinciding with the bloody Israeli genocide campaign on Gaza.
