RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces today detained 20 Palestinian civilians from the West Bank, including two prisoners released under the swap deal that was agreed under a temporary truce in Gaza, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS). PPS said in statement that the detention operations took place in different cities across the occupied West Bank such as Ramallah, Hebron, Tulkarm, Bethlehem, Nablus, Jenin, and Jerusalem, during which the soldiers brutally abused and assaulted during the detention. It said that during the raid and arrest campaigns, the occupation army inflected damage to civilians' homes and tampered with their contents. The total number of Palestinians detained since October 7 has risen to 7,120. Meanwhile, the occupation army continued to carry out the crime of enforced disappearance against Gaza detainees as Israeli aggression on Gaza enters its 137 day. The occupation authorities refuses to provide human rights institutions with any information regarding their fate an d places of detention to this day.
