BETHLEHEM: Israeli occupation forces renewed late on Monday their military incursion into the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, said local sources. The incursion comes amid heightened tensions in the region, following an alleged car-ramming attack targeting soldiers. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces have significantly increased their presence in the area, deploying additional military reinforcements. The troops are stationed across Al-Khader, and live fire has been reported as they pursue the alleged attacker linked to the earlier incident at the Baloua Triangle. The WAFA correspondent reported that the town is under a strict siege, with all entry and exit points sealed off. Israeli soldiers are reportedly firing live rounds at anyone moving within the area, creating a tense and dangerous situation for local residents. The military action has escalated concerns over the safety and security of those living in the town.
