JENIN_:Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening torched a house in the Jenin refugee camp, according to local sources. They said that the gun-toting soldiers set fire to the house and stormed the house of a slain Palestinian, wreaking havoc inside. The forces later on withdrew from the yard of the camp, but the military vehicles remain stationed in the vicinity of Jenin Government Hospital and al-Rayyan Building. Last week, the occupation forces launched their largest offensive on the occupied West Bank since the Second Intifada, attacking three cities - Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas - from land and air and killing at least 33 Palestinians and injuring 140 others. Military bulldozers ploughed into critical infrastructure, cutting off communications and resources from several Palestinian cities and refugee camps. This is the latest move in a broader Israeli offensive, marked by almost daily arrests and killings, in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since the onset of the Israeli genocidal aggression on Gaza on 7 October 2023, which resulted in the killing at least of 40,861 Palestinians and injuring 94,398 others.
