BETHLEHEM: The Israeli occupation authorities today razed a large tract of land in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, and uprooted dozens of olive and vine trees. Director of the Husan Village Council, Rami Hamamra, said that Israeli army, accompanied by heavy bulldozers, razed more than four dunums of land and uprooted about 51 olive trees and 15 vine trees owned by local residents. Earlier today, the Israeli occupation forces quelled a peaceful protest against land pillage in the said village. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
