BETHLEHEM: Israeli forces this evening delivered demolition notices against several privately-owned Palestinian homes and a theme park restaurant in the village of al-Walaja, west of Bethlehem, according to a local official. The acting director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in Bethlehem, Mohammed Aziz, said forces handed out notices ordering the demolition of four houses - a 100-square-meter each - including an unoccupied and vacant house. The notices also ordered the demolition of a five-dunum theme park restaurant owned by a local resident in the said area. Last Tuesday, forces demolished two houses and a retaining wall in the same area, in addition to another retaining wall in the Ein Jwaiza neighborhood in al-Walaja village. The demolitions caused damage to residents' crops in nearby areas. Source: Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA
