Hebron: Israeli forces conducted a series of detentions across the West Bank overnight, apprehending 12 Palestinians, including former detainees. The operation was confirmed by the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Palestinian Authority's Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the raids targeted several areas including the cities of Hebron, Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Salfit. The detentions were marked by violent home invasions, destruction of property, and threats directed towards the detainees and their families. In some incidents, Israeli forces reportedly ransacked homes, destroying personal belongings and confiscating items without providing any explanation. This development is part of a broader campaign that has seen over 11,700 Palestinians detained from the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. The rising number of detentions has been a cause for concern, w ith many detainees experiencing long periods of detention without formal charges or trial, alongside reports of widespread ill-treatment during their detention.
