RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces Monday detained 55 Palestinians in wide-scale detention operation in several areas in the occupied West Bank cities, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS). The PPS said in a statement that the occupation army detained 22 Palestinians in Hebron. Some of them are former prisoners who went on hunger strikes for over 140 days. It added that Israeli forces detained dozens of other Palestinians in Tubas, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Jerusalem and Ramallah, where the soldiers raided al-Amari camp, and killed a 16-year-old minor. PPS said that the total number of detentions October 7th rose to about 7,400, including those who were detained from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
