The Israeli occupation municipality demolished a Palestinian-owned house in the town of Al-Issawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, after storming the town and besieging the neighborhood in which the house was located. Local sources in the town said that the house belongs to local resident Mahran Darwish, noting that he lives in it with his family of five members, adding that the owner of the house was subjected to heavy financial fines imposed by the occupation municipality before it came to the town today to demolish it. It is noteworthy that the occupation forces used the demolition of homes as collective punishment against Jerusalemites who are prevented from obtaining building permits from the occupation municipality.
