Israeli Forces Conduct Siege on Palestinian House Near Tulkarm.

TULKARM: Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening besieged a Palestinian house in the Ezbet al-Jarad suburb, east of the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the forces entered the city from its western entrance while special forces were detected in the suburb, continuing the siege on the house. The incident saw additional military reinforcements dispatched to the vicinity, with drones hovering above the area at high altitudes. Local sources reported that the soldiers ordered those inside the house to surrender via loudspeakers amidst heavy gunfire. Israeli occupation forces frequently conduct raids on Palestinian houses across the West Bank, claiming to search for "wanted" Palestinians, often leading to clashes with residents. These operations, which occur in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are executed without a search warrant, as permitted by the military's broad powers. Under Israeli military regulations, army com manders hold complete executive, legislative, and judicial authority over the approximately 3 million Palestinians residing in the West Bank, leaving the Palestinian population without input on how this authority is exercised.
