Qalqilya: Israeli forces bulldozed on Tuesday agricultural land owned by a Palestinian family to the east of Qalqilya city, according to local sources. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli machinery proceeded to level around 60 dunums of agricultural land in the eastern part of Jayyous village, near the separation wall. Nearly 300 olive trees were also uprooted. The leveling of the land has raised concerns among the local community, as olive trees are a significant source of income and cultural heritage for many Palestinian families in the area. The incident adds to the ongoing tensions between Israeli forces and Palestinian residents over land ownership and agricultural rights. Local sources indicated that the bulldozing of the land is part of a broader pattern of land confiscations and agricultural disruptions in the region. The separation wall, which has been a point of contention for years, continues to impact the livelihoods of those living in its vicinity.
