JERUSALEM: A young Palestinian man was wounded in the head today after Israeli occupation forces attacked worshippers attempting to attend the Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem. Local sources reported that forces used batons to attack worshippers near the Bab al-Asbat area as they tried to reach the Al-Aqsa Mosque, causing injuries to one worshipper. The occupation forces tightened their military measures in the city of Jerusalem, erecting barricades and checking the identities of citizens going to perform Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and preventing a number of them from entering.
