Hebron: Dozens of armed Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed the Islamic cemetery and several key streets in the Old City of Hebron today, escalating tensions in the area. Eyewitnesses reported that the colonists, escorted by soldiers, broke into the Islamic cemetery and marched through the narrow streets and alleyways of Hebron's historic Old City, including the Jaber neighborhood, Tel Rumeida, and the Sehla district. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists organized a provocative procession that began at the Kiryat Arba colony, built on confiscated Palestinian land to the east of the city, and passed through several smaller outposts within the city center. During the march, the colonists threw stones at Palestinian homes near the Ibrahimi Mosque, as well as around the Osama bin Munqidh School. This school, once a Palestinian institution, has been repurposed by the Israeli military into a religious institute for training rabbis and re named the "Beit Romano" colony. The procession was marked by chants of racist slogans, including "Death to Arabs," as the colonists climbed onto the rooftops of several Palestinian homes, further intensifying the inflammatory nature of their actions. Israeli soldiers, who were deployed to protect the colonists, prevented Palestinian residents from moving freely through the Old City, blocking access to their homes and closing several key streets.
