HEBRON: Israeli colonists this evening began the groundwork for a new illegal colonial outpost in the northern Jordan Valley. Motaz Bisharat, an official in Tubas governorate, said that a group of colonists set up a colonial outpost to the east of road 60 near Ain al-Hilweh community. Israeli colonial activities in the occupied West Bank are illegal under international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention which expressly prohibits the relocation of the civil population of the occupying power to the land of the occupied.
